United Kingdom – A London(ish) Look – Check out the comments below regarding - Emergency Protest – Riding Against Motorcycle & Scooter Crime on the 9th September............... The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2017

Global - For the sixth consecutive year and our second year of reporting, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, takes place on streets globally on Sunday 24th September 2017 and is looking to unite 70,000 riders of 600 cities in 95 countries. It is not a ride just for men, as the ride has as many women dressing dapper for the cause participating with their motorcycles and supporting the men in their lives. Europe Registrations Down

Europe - ACEM, the European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers, which is the trade association that represents manufacturers of powered-two and three-wheelers as well as quadricycles (L-category vehicles) in Europe, reports that EU motorcycle and moped registrations were down 3% in the first half of 2017. According to the latest figures released by ACEM, combined registrations of motorcycles and mopeds in the EU have reached 682,008 units during the first six months of 2017, representing a decrease of 3% compared to same period of the previous year. Update: 2nd December 2017 - On advice from FFMC the French Riders group, FEMA Federation of European Motorcyclists Associations has updated its website advice on Foreigners not having to wear reflective stickers on their helmets to - “As a foreigner, you have to wear reflective stickers on your helmet, just like the French.” see more in the comments below. France - the FFMC - Fédération Française des Motards en Colère is with Mutuelle des Motards/The Mutual Biker Foundation is is conducting a survey on perceptions of "road sharing".
