Australia - CRASH helmet ratings are now published on the MotoCAP website CRASH safety ratings are now published on the MotoCAP website, providing safety ratings for motorcycle helmets, including 30 newly released ratings. MotoCAP - the Motorcycle Clothing Assessment Program gives clothing separate star ratings for protection and comfort. The protection rating considers performance in abrasion resistance, seam strength and impact protection. FIM - Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme – Safety Award 2019 - Clothing Assessment – A couple of weekends ago the FIM Awards took place in the Principality of Monaco, at the glittering ceremony of the FIM Gala. Australia - New South Wales - Motorcycle clothing rated for a safe ride - The motorcycle clothing rating from Australia has been in the pipeline for a while and we reported on its existence previously. Now the first findings have been launched. While wandering around the internet, Facebook to be exact, we came across a question on the Moto Riders Universe group page, (a group that has nearly 150,000 members), which was, “What is the hump for on a motorcycle jacket? Yorkshire - United Kingdom - My current motorcycle jacket is of the wax cotton variety. When I was looking to purchase a jacket of this type - at least six years ago - I mail ordered a Belstaff jacket - what else. Unfortunately Belstaff had been purchased by the Italians - fortunately keeping the Belstaff name going - however their vision of a 3xxxl sized jacket was a large chest but a 34 inch waist - I haven't had a 34 inch waist in several decades - so I was able to return the jacket.
