London - The Metropolitan Police have just launched its 'Be Safe' campaign around preventing theft of scooters and of course motorcycles! The message of the Met's new short, hard-hitting film and advertising campaign, urging riders of scooters, motorcycles and mopeds to use more security to avoid the theft of their vehicles is, "The more visible the security, the less visible your scooter is to thieves: adding extra security makes it harder for them to steal." United Kingdom - Biker & Bike - UK Motorcycle Theft Protest Group - There is a bike theft epidemic happening in the UK’s larger cities that, outside of biking circles, is little known about. United Kingdom - The Ace Café may be a Mecca for the motorcyclist but in 1967 the ‘Ace’ and in particular the Grand Union Canal running behind it, once took on a different & more sinister tale of motorcycling.
