Safety Report - We are reading through the - "Riding in a safe system – workshop on safety for powered-two-wheelers - Final report from a workshop held on 9–23 June, 2021" The report was published in December 2021 and as one of us were involved independently in part of the workshops, we presumed that we would have been informed. Europe - The European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (ACEM) who represent the manufacturers of mopeds, motorcycles, three-wheelers and quadricycles (L-category vehicles) in Europe launched recently a position paper regarding - Motorcycle leisure, tourism, sports and related activities. United Kingdom - Today the UK's National Motorcycle Council (NMC) has published today its Motorcycling and the Future of Transport Policy 2022 (pdf 1.74mb) document as a major new contribution to the discussion motorcycling’s developing role in society and transport, whilst presenting how motorcycling can contribute to the Government’s aim to ‘Build Back Better’ in relation to transport policy in the post pandemic era. Journey To A Brighter Destination
United Kingdom - Industry and rider groups unite to protect motorcycling. The Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) says that, "With support from leading riders’ rights group, Motorcycle Action Group, has today published its long awaited ‘Journey to a Brighter Destination’ document in support of leisure motorcycling. The Auto-Cycle Union and Mental Health Bikers have also supported the publication."
