UK – The Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) has announced the launch of a new motorcycle & scooter anti-theft security “star rating” programme. This is designed to recognise and highlight to buyers which anti-theft devices are fitted or supplied as standard on new motorcycles and scooters. MCIA Condemns Applying VNUK
Europe - The Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) in the UK has called today on EU member governments and MEPs to reject European Commission proposals which threaten to end all forms of competitive and grassroots motorsport across the EU, including the UK. Technology - Hitting the journalistic newsstands this week was the announcement from Ducati with its constant drive towards innovation, that the Bologna-based manufacturer is defining its safety strategy until 2025. This will see the implementation in the short term of ARAS (Advanced Rider Assistance Systems) on their motorcycles, or as has been picked up, Ducati is fitting a radar to their bikes.
