International – We have just picked up from IMMA – International Motorcycle Manufacturers Association website that the organisation, located in Geneva Switzerland are looking for a Technical Officer, a new position at the secretariat to support its increasing activity-level.
What is IMMA?
Motorcycle Minds Trevor Baird says, “I am aware of IMMA, having in the past worked with IMMA at the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) at the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP29) and Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety (WP1) as the Technical Offer for FEMA Federation of European Motorcyclists Associations and representative of an international coalition of rider organisations, which seems like a life time away.
It was the IMMA representative, Nick Rogers, who at that time, assisted me and introduced me as the new person on the block, to the workings of UNECE as he guided me physically around the warren of the Palais des Nations in Geneva and through the complexities of meetings and agendas. An experience that I will never forget and look back with good memories.”
