Europe - ACEM the European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (ACEM) has published a position paper on requirements to apply amendments to a European Regulation. The regulation is the Approval and market surveillance of two- or three-wheel vehicles and quadricycles regulations which we dealt with previously as Right To Ride EU . MCIA Condemns Applying VNUK
Europe - The Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) in the UK has called today on EU member governments and MEPs to reject European Commission proposals which threaten to end all forms of competitive and grassroots motorsport across the EU, including the UK. High Parking Fees – Sweden
Sweden - The Federation of European Motorcyclists reports from one of its member organisation, SMC - Swedish Motorcyclists Association that the city of Stockholm has introduced one of the world’s highest parking fees for motorcycles and mopeds, without any kind of investigation or impact assessment for the citizens. This is even though Stockholm City has concluded that motorcycles and mopeds are small vehicles that reduce congestion and are better for the environment.
