Europe - ACEM the European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers which represents the manufacturers of mopeds, motorcycles, three-wheelers and quadricycles (L-category vehicles) in Europe, has published two position papers on vehicle technology. 2017 FIM Road Safety Awards
Norway - Europe – NMCU the Norsk Motorcykkel Union has been awarded the 2017 FIM - Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme - Road Safety Award for its “Full Kontroll” book. FIM explains that the Road Safety Award promotes initiatives or technology for improving road traffic safety, particularly for powered two wheelers, with a wish to encourage new solutions to diminish accidents, especially fatal injuries, making motorcycling an even safer passion. Europe - The Federation of European Motorcyclists (FEMA) say that a vote in the European Parliament regarding an important report on road safety is good news for motorcyclists, as riders are explicitly mentioned in the report.
