Global - Who would have thought we would be reporting on global political issues, as America (or rather their President) announces the prospect of import tariffs that has drawn promised retaliation from the Europe Union. Last week the US President announced plans to raise tariffs on imported steel (25%) and aluminium (10%), including steel and aluminium from Europe the duty to be formally set this week, with the President ready to fight back as a tit for tat trade war looms, as the European Union promises to act firmly against any tariffs. Europe -The basics of riding a motorcycle never change and what we as rider’s face is as similar now as when motorcycles first hit the road – no pun intended. London – Motorcycles Forever
London – A consultation on detailed proposals to improve London’s air quality from the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, through Transport for London (TfL), would see pre-2007 manufactured motorcycles being charged in an Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) which is to be introduced in 2019. The consultation which is due to close on the 28th February 2018 indicates that a ULEZ would apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week every day of the year, including weekends and public holidays where all vehicles will need to meet exhaust emission standards (ULEZ standards) or pay a daily charge. … [Read more...]
