Europe - ACEM the European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (ACEM) has published a position paper on requirements to apply amendments to a European Regulation. The regulation is the Approval and market surveillance of two- or three-wheel vehicles and quadricycles regulations which we dealt with previously as Right To Ride EU . Brough Superior – Every now and again an article catches our eye because it stands out encompassing a specific motorcycle with its history and its future.  In this case the Brough Superior, as this iconic machine emerges from the past. Technology - Hitting the journalistic newsstands this week was the announcement from Ducati with its constant drive towards innovation, that the Bologna-based manufacturer is defining its safety strategy until 2025. This will see the implementation in the short term of ARAS (Advanced Rider Assistance Systems) on their motorcycles, or as has been picked up, Ducati is fitting a radar to their bikes. Global - Who would have thought we would be reporting on global political issues, as America (or rather their President) announces the prospect of import tariffs that has drawn promised retaliation from the Europe Union. Last week the US President announced plans to raise tariffs on imported steel (25%) and aluminium (10%), including steel and aluminium from Europe the duty to be formally set this week, with the President ready to fight back as a tit for tat trade war looms, as the European Union promises to act firmly against any tariffs.
